Villa to broaden its Euro appeal in 2012

Prague’s unique gay resort Villa Mansland is already a pretty cosmopolitan place, welcoming guests and visitors from all over the world as they arrive to explore Prague’s famously vibrant gay scene.
And newly-announced deals with two of Europe’s most important gay travel operators mean that even more visitors are now expected in the 2012 season.

German tour operator DERTOUR (brochure “gay travel”) and Spain’s Los Viajes de la Vicky are each recommending the Villa to Prague-bound clients who are looking for suitable accommodation for their precious holiday breaks.
“The current Eurozone difficulties mean that many European guys are cutting back on travel further afield in 2012 and deciding that there are some equally attractive – and more competitively priced - destinations nearer home”, says Villa Mansland owner Harry Niessner.

“Maybe some of them won’t have been in Prague for a few years – and I think they’ll be very pleasantly surprised to see how the gay scene here has developed in their absence.

Villa owner’s birthday bash will brighten the January blues

Prague’s unique gay resort Villa Mansland will be doing its best to brighten a chilly winter’s night in the city when it throws open its doors for owner Harry Niessner’s 66th birthday party later this month.
The big celebration – scheduled for Saturday 21 January – will feature plenty of the food, drink and the warm hospitality for which the Villa is well known, all interspersed with a series of sexy boy cabaret spots throughout the evening.

Renowned Amsterdam-based entertainers Russhow will once again be bringing their unique talents to Prague and, during the week before the party, will be recruiting some very handsome new local boys to star in a range of exciting acts. Body painting, an oil show, strippers, erotic fantasies and a slave auction are all promised and are sure to warm up even the chilliest Prague night for the Villa’s guests and visitors.

Greetings from Prague! Villa Mansland’s 13th birthday celebrations will be taking place between 21 and 30 October this year, with the theme of “Dads and Sons”.

The first birthday event takes place on Saturday 22 October – a big party organized and hosted by Jura, who you’ll recall from his regular posts about life here at the Villa. He is hoping that there will be a live appearance by a special mystery guest and then, after a magic show that evening, one of our international friends will be taking over the Villa Mansland kitchen to cook some of his favorite native dishes as a late night dinner for our guests and visitors. The party’s finale will stretch into the early hours of Sunday morning with several more surprises.

And, as if all that wasn’t enough, Jura is also putting together a program of other special 13th birthday events and activities lasting until Sunday 30 October. We will be letting you have more details as they are finalized.
